Gear Up for Game Day with Kimchi Wings

What's the Big Game Without Wings? Spicy Kimchi Wings by Executive Chef Dave Dunlap, Maple & Pine at Quirk Hotel, A Destination Hotel (Richmond, VA) will change it up for your team! 

Ingredients:
·         One 16 oz jar of kimchi
·         2 pounds of chicken wings
·         1 cup all-purpose flour
·         1 cup corn starch
·         3 tablespoons garlic powder
·         3 tablespoons onion powder
·         1 teaspoon cayenne pepper
Method:
1.     Place all dry ingredients in a bowl and mix with a whisk until all ingredients are evenly

        distributed
2.     Using a blender puree the kimchi until smooth
3.     Place the chicken in a bowl and coat with the flour and cornstarch mixture
4.     Remove chicken from the flour and tap to remove any excess flour
5.     Place in a deep fryer set to 325⁰F and cook for 7 to 10 minutes. and are golden brown
6.     Make sure the chicken has an internal temperature of 165⁰F
7.     Place in clean mixing bowl and season with salt
8.     Pour the kimchi puree over the wings and gently toss until coated and serve
