American Lamb Board announces Lamb Jam 2019 Tour

The American Lamb Jam is a chef competition and culinary experience bringing together 16 of the most talented chefs at each of the six tour stops − Austin, Boston, Denver, San Francisco Seattle and Washington, D.C. – and to celebrate the family-operated farms and ranches raising sheep in the United States. Chefs compete for the best lamb dish and the opportunity to go head to head against winners from across the nation at the Lamb Jam Finale for the title of Lamb Jam Master.

The American Lamb Board is excited to announce the 2019 Lamb Jam Tour dates and locations.

American Lamb Chops with Pecan Dukkah and Salsa Verde


Watch chefs Stephen Barber and Kipp Ramsey from Farmstead Restaurant at Long Meadow Ranch in California's Napa Valley make American Lamb chops with pecan dukkah and salsa verde. The American Lamb t-bone chops are marinated with smoked paprika, oregano and garlic for about 6 hours, then grilled for about 10 minutes with eggplant and onions.
