Tempe,Ariz- In the changing sea of government safety regulations a new tool is available to help companies gauge the level of compliance and safety of their company.
Safety Grade is an online survey allowing companies to complete a free industry based safety and federal compliance assessment.
“Studies show workplaces conducting regular safety audits have lower rates of injury and increased productivity,” said Safety Grade founder George Davis. “It is our goal with this new company to provide business owners the ability to conduct quick online audits of their organization.”
To get started with the free survey, business owners simply visit www.safetygrade.com, create an account and begin the test.
The entire process takes less than 10-minutes to complete and covers both OSHA and general safety requirements.
At the end of the survey, the user is presented with a summary of the areas that need to be addressed and a score based on their company’s safety level.
The site also features a guide to fulfilling basic workplace requirements and a blog on pertinent safety information.
“We currently offer 10 chapters in our safety guide, but we plan to continually add new chapters,” Davis said. “It is a great resource for companies looking to either start a safety program or to add to an existing program.”
Safety Grade is available with a free membership plan that gives members access to the survey, blog and training guide. However, in the coming months Davis said his company is looking to add a paid membership.
“We are hoping to add add further value to safety grade, without taxing the finances of companies using our service,” Davis said.
Additions to this monthly fee would entitle members to include free safety meetings, labor law posters and more.
