Floral notes over warm, jammy fruit and spicy wood, with aromas of violets, black plum, black cherry, raspberry jam, and hints of mocha and spice. Spice and ripe fruit on the palate, offering mature blackberry, strawberry jam, and espresso, with clove, licorice, and mature oak. Toast, spice, and a touch of earthiness on the long, balanced finish. Great wine.
